Modern contemporary terrace house design in Shah Alam

Style is all about creating a persona that is seen when you're out in the public eye. With interior design, it is not just about style but substance as well. The owners of this terrace house located in Shah Alam, Malaysia wanted to create a home that would not only fulfill their sense of style but also meet their demands for everyday living.

The team at Nu Infinity were engaged to help transform this terrace house into an extension of the owner's sense of style. Using a mixed palette of colours which utilizes white and black as the primary colours while burgundy is used more in a complimentary role. The result is splashes of colour against a neutral background and further enhanced by the timber veneers used for the built-ins and in the selection of furniture for the dining area.

The open concept kitchen with its sleek white finish provides the perfect casual spot for a quick bite. Its overall look is complemented by the selection of appliances finished in black while an abstract artwork with a splash of burgundy visually connects back with the overall theme. A quick look at the different spaces show that form and function can work together in transforming a normal home into one with both style and substance.
